Drug / Alcohol Family Intervention Service
This is a service that is not provided by many in the community and is not usually advertised. This is a service when there is a family member whose drug/alcohol usage behavior is out of control and is seriously affecting and impacting the family.
The short-term goal of this program is designed to help the family cope with the active drug/alcohol using behavior.
The longer-term goal is having the family member with the drug/alcohol problem be referred to chemical dependency treatment. I am very skilled in this area. Although getting your loved one in treatment is the ultimate goal, this may or may not happen. However, the family will learn new and better skills.
